Seishindo MindBody Coaching

New York City; May 5-6, 2012

Schedule Day 1 & 2

 

Day One of the MindBody Coaching workshop
We will work in an informal, supportive fashion, so that everyone feels safe and fully supported. Hopefully there will be a fair amount of laughter and fun, along the way!
 
Each day- There will be two live coaching demonstrations with volunteers from the group. You will get to observe how BodyMind Coaching works in the “real world” and you will learn a great deal, whether you are the coachee or an observer.
 
We will explore how:
• Your unconsciously generated emotional reactions determine what you say and what you believe about your current life situation.
• Exercises that change the way you use your body and breathe, will  change your perception of how resourceful you feel.
• You can become more present in the moment, and thus better able to draw on the many resources you currently possess.
• When you become more solution oriented, when you move towards your goals, rather than away from your perceived problems.
• You can effectively utilize the information and guidance that emanates from your BodyMind.
• You can bring greater awareness to your non-verbal communication, and thus better understand your emotions.
 
And, whatever other topics come up along the way!
 
Day’s end recap- We will use this time to create clarity about what you learned, and the principles involved. During this recap you will be asked to consider how you can use what you learned when you return to your everyday life.
 
Day Two
Once again, we will work in an informal light hearted manner, and once again I will do two live demonstrations with volunteers.
 
Everyone will be encouraged to share their impressions of Day One, having had the chance to literally “sleep” on what they learned.
 
We will explore:
• The unconscious structure of change.
• How to check for “conscious/unconscious congruency”. Recognizing if what you say verbally, matches what you say non-verbally.
• “Breath Talking”. A great method for slowing down your verbal communication, so that you support your talking with copious amounts of oxygen.
• How to focus on your dreams and ambitions, and all of the positive factors of your life that sometimes elude you.
• The importance of being able to “emotionally digest” what we say and believe.
• How to “say less”, and become more clear about what it is you are really wanting to say.
 
Day’s end recap- To make clear all you have learned over the course of our two days together, and you will be asked to consider how you will approach “change” in the future.
